Drawings, [ca.1780-ca.1810]

Consists of 206 watercolors and 43 pencil and wash drawings of furniture, chandeliers, upholstery, and draperies. Drawings are numbered and initialed, "E.S." Styles represented run the gamut from late Chippendale to Regency. The drawings were presumably copied from an earlier work as the paper they are on bears the watermark of a Dutch paper making firm that began production in 1845. It has been suggested that the drawings are fragments of an earlier job book.
